Does your company care for your wellbeing?

Large corporations all over the world tend to establish company cultures where their staff are pushed to their limits both physically and mentally. Their staff in turn tend to prioritise their work life over their own wellbeing resulting in a lack of awareness of their own health. Staff only begin to take their health seriously after a major health incident or even the death of a colleague. At this point, they may have already developed serious health issues that they then need to work on to reverse or minimise.

Corporations tend to lose profits when employees are working below their optimum health and/or are constantly taking sick leave. By promoting good health and wellbeing practices, corporations are not only taking care of their staff but also improving their company's performance.

There are many ways that corporations can promote wellbeing amongst their staff:

  1. Dedicate occupational health spaces and specialists within the office

  2. Free regular health assessments for all staff

  3. Vouchers for counselling

  4. Active weekend retreats

  5. Health, wellbeing and wellness lunch talks
